This weekend is the Tall Ships festival here in Charleston and if you know my husband, you know that there was no way we weren’t going to be in attendance. Even though we made the mistake of going when the sun was at its fiercest, I was so glad we went.
Unlike our typical weekend strolls around the Charleston harbor, where we only get to see ships from up and down the east coast, we got to see ships from all over like Bremerhaven, Germany; Buenos Aires, Argentina; Lunenburg, Nova Scotia; and Rotterdam, the Netherlands. We talked about which countries we’d want to visit one day and our favorite parts of each ship.
I’m so lucky that Matthew is patient with me because I stopped to take a few too many photos while we were there. Here are some of my favorites from the day.. especially the last one, enjoy!
